why elementary boys?
While working as a Juvenile Officer with youths on probation and committed to the State of Georgia, Mr. Keith Mitchell recognized the need to guide young boys. After working on teen programs and seeing results, it became apparent to start at an even earlier age and pour into the lives of adolescents.
At the ages of 8, 9, and 10, boys are still in the age range of listening to adults and what we say and do as adults still carry a heavy influence. It is believed that if we can be successful in equipping younger boys, then maybe this would aid in limiting the amount of negative behavior as they transition into middle school and beyond.
